Overview Key Features Configurations

In command of your FPGA prototypes from PC software through USB

The S2C Virtex-5 TAI Logic Module includes an on-board USB2.0 interface and ships with our TAI Player runtime software, allowing you to perform various runtime functions straight from your PC. Download your FPGA by simply selecting your compiled Xilinx bit-stream files and the click of your mouse button. TAI Logic Module's comprehensive Self-Test functionality is also now accessible through our TAI Player runtime software.  In a matter of minutes, you can pinpoint any potential hardware problem such as a bad external connector pin, broken interFPGA net, or undetected clock input.

Three on-board programmable clocks sources
Create clocks for your complex SoC/ASIC designs with just a few mouse clicks. Simply select your desired clock frequencies and our TAI Player runtime software will automatically program the Virtex-5 TAI Logic Module's on-board clock sources via USB2.0 interface. You can create up to three distinct clock sources at a time.

This feature can also easily measure your design's on-FPGA run speed. Adjusting different clock frequencies for your design now takes but a few seconds.

Equal length IO for optimal performance
In designing the Virtex-5 TAI Logic Module, S2C engineers have made exceptional efforts to ensure that the FPGA traces to each IO connectors are of equal length. Wielding a timing skew of <0.1ns among traces from the same connector, you can be confident that your designs on the Virtex-5 TAI Logic Module can interface to external systems at optimal speeds.
