S2C Prodigy Logic Modules are designed to be flexible and users can utilize S2C’s large number of Expansion & Accessory modules to create additional interconnections between FPGA, to stack or tile multiple Prodigy Logic Modules together, or to connect with external systems that require different I/O voltage level or form factor. S2C also stocks various cables, connectors, self-testing accessories for user who intend to build their own interface boards to Prodigy Logic Modules.

Prodigy to FMC-LPC Converter Module

  • Prodigy to FMC LPC Converter Module converts a FMC LPC (Low Pin Count) connector to a Prodigy I/O connector.
  • Occupies one Prodigy I/O connector.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


Prodigy to FMC-HPC Converter Module

  • Prodigy to FMC HPC (High Pin Count) Converter Module converts two FMC connectors(one FMC-HPC connector and one FMC-LPC connector) to two Prodigy I/O connectors.
  • Occupies two Prodigy I/O connectors.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 



Prodigy to LM Converter Module

  • Prodigy to LM Converter Module Converts a Prodigy I/O connector to LM I/O connector.
  • Occupies one Prodigy I/O connector.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


Prodigy Interconnection Module Type H

  • Prodigy Interconnection Module Type H connects 2 horizontally aligned Prodigy I/O connectors.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


FMC Mezzanine Interface Module

  • Enables FMC HPC Mezzanine cards or FMC LPC Mezzanine cards to connect to S2C Prodigy Logic Modules.
  • Occupies one LM connector when interfacing to a FMC LPC Mezzanine card.
  • Occupies up to 2 LM connectors and 1 GTX connector when interfacing to a FMC HPC Mezzanine card.
  • Cables are required to connect to FMC HPC Mezzanine card and are sold separately.
  • Support V7 and K7 Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


I/O Level Shifting Module Type E

  • I/O Level Shifting Module Type E Allows Prodigy Logic Module 1.8V or 2.5V IO connects to 3.3V devices.
  • Supports bi-direction translation and can work with connectors on top side of Prodigy Logic Module.
  • Occupies one LM connector.
  • Support V7 and K7 Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


LM Interconnection Module Type B

  • Connects 2 vertically aligned LM connectors and provides 2 global clocks through OSC sockets and 1 global reset through push-button to 2 Prodigy Logic Modules.
  • Support V7 and K7 Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


LM Interconnection Module Type V

  • Connects 2 vertically aligned LM connectors on Prodigy Logic Modules.
  • Support V7 and K7 Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


Connector Spacer-5 Module

  • Adds about 19mm of height between a LM Terminal Connector and a LM Socket connector.
  • Occupies one LM connector.
  • Support V7 and K7 Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


Connector Spacer-1 Module

  • Adds about 5mm of height between a LM Terminal Connector and a LM Socket connector.
  • Occupies one LM connector.
  • Support V7 and K7 Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


System Control Clock Module Type A

  • SC Clock Module Type A provides 3 pairs of LVDS clock inputs on MMCX, 1 single-ended OSC socket, 3 push buttons, and 3 pairs of LVDS clock outputs on MMCX on a S2C SC connector.

 


System Control Clock Module Type B

  • SC Clock Module Type B provides 3 single-ended SMB clocks, 1 single-ended OSC socket, 3 push buttons, and 3 pairs of LVDS clock outputs on MMCX on a S2C SC connector.

 


System Control Clock Module Type C

  • System Control Clock Module Type C provides 3 single-ended clock input on SMB, 1 single-ended OSC socket, 3 reset inputs through push button or SMB and 3 pairs of LVDS clock outputs on MMCX on a S2C SC connector.

 


Global Clocks Management Module

  • Global Clocks Management Module outputs 3 clocks (2 differential and 1 single-ended) and 1 reset signal with equal timing to up to 4 different boards through SMB connectors.
  • All 3 clock frequencies can be conveniently programmed via USB from a PC or from external SMB inputs.
  • The reset signal input can come from either an on-board push button or a SMB input.

 


Global Clocks Management Module Type B

  • Global Clocks Management Module Type B provides 3 reset input through push button or MMCX, 6 pairs of LVDS clock inputs through on-board programmable chips or MMCX, 3 pairs of LVDS clock outputs, and one USB interface to program the clocks.

 


Global Clocks Management Module Type C

  • The Global Clocks Management Module Type C is used to generate global clocks and reset signals. It provides one global clock input, eight global clock outputs and one global reset input, eight global reset outputs.

 


300mm MMCX to SMB Cable

  • The 300mm MMCX to SMB Cable attaches to the SMB connector on one side and also attaches to MMCX connector on another side.

 


Smart Power Switch Module

  • Provides ON/OFF the ATX power supply.
  • Provides one 5V, 3.3V and 1.8V power supply, the current up to 3A.

 


Smart Power Switch Module Type B

  • Smart Power Switch Module Type B provides 5V, 3.3V and 1.8V to user’s daughter cards connecting to S2C Prodigy Logic Modules, manages remote power on/off/recycle of S2C Prodigy Logic Modules.
  • It can manage up to 4 Prodigy logic Module power on/off/recycle.

 


Prodigy I/O Testing Module

  • Prodigy I/O Testing Module provides loop back circuits with LED status lights for testing Prodigy I/O connectors.
  • Occupies one Prodigy I/O connector.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


Prodigy DDR42IO Module

  • Prodigy DDR42IO Module converts a DDR4 SO-DIMM socket to a Prodigy I/O connector.
  • Occupies on Prodigy LM DDR4 SO-DIMM socket.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


Prodigy I/O Connectors

  • Connects Prodigy Logic Module to your target board by way of direct connection or cable. The Prodigy I/O connectors come in two types: Socket or mezzanine, and are available in different heights.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


Prodigy Connector Spacer Module

  • Prodigy Connector Spacer Module adds approximately 17.5 mm of height between a Prodigy Socket and a Prodigy Mezzanine Connector.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


400mm/1000mm Prodigy Cable

  • 400mm/1000mm Prodigy Cable links connections between two S2C Prodigy Socket connectors. There are 2 cable length options 400mm and 1000mm.
  • Support VU and KU Prodigy Logic Module directly.

 


DDR22IO Module

  • Converts DDR2 SODIMM Socket into a LM connector, adds 116 I/Os for customers.
  • Occupies one DDR2 SODIMM Socket.

 


DDR32IO Module

  • Converts DDR3 SODIMM Socket into a LM connector, adds 120 I/Os for customers.
  • Occupies one DDR3 SODIMM Socket.

 


I/O Testing Module

  • Provides loop back circuits with LED status lights for testing Logic Module I/O Connector.

  • I/O Performance Testing Module provides loop back circuits with LVDS testing or Single-ended testing for LM connectors.

Logic Module I/O Connector

  • Connects Prodigy Logic Module to your target board by way of direct connection or cable. The IO connectors come in two types, SoCkets or terminals, and are available in different heights.

 


Logic Module I/O Cable

  • Connects Prodigy Logic Module to external target boards through cabling.
  • Standard IO cable length is 12 inches.

  • Supports JTAG downloading Altera FPGA configure file and SignalTap debugging through USB connection.
