S2C Offers Comprehensive Design Solution with Virtex-4 TAI Prototyping Development Kit (TAI PDK) Sep 19, 2007

San Jose, Calif. - September 19, 2007—S2C Inc., a provider of advanced SoC design solutions, is pleased to announce the availability of the Dual Virtex-4 TAI Prototyping Development Kit (TAI PDK). Accelerating the prototyping and verification of your chip design on an FPGA-based platform, the PDK provides designers an out-of-the-box FPGA-based design solution that combines feature-rich development hardware with usability enhancing software.

TAI PDK includes a Dual Virtex-4 TAI Logic Module for core prototyping functionality, TAI Pod Module for clock generation, download, and hardware self-test, and TAI Player software for run-time, debug, and compile capabilities. Designers have the option to choose from logic capacities of 4.0 million gates (two Xilinx V-4 LX200 FPGAs) or 3.2 million gates(two Xilinx V-4 LX160 FPGAs).

About TAI Logic Module The S2C Virtex-4 TAI Logic Module is a rapid SoC/ASIC prototyping and support system that utilizes TAI IP, a configurable FPGA-based IP format, to efficiently create designs in prototypes. When used with the optional TAI Pod module, the TAI Logic Module utilizes S2C's TAI Bus technology to dynamically link the interconnections and debugging data among multiple stacked TAI Logic Modules, allowing effortless compilation and debugging of complex designs in multiple TAI Logic Modules.
